Content developer and Culture Entrepreneurship Trainer  Through her experiences , El Sheikh became an expert in delivering the module of Culture Entrepreneurship developed by NESTA.ORG and British Council Cairo. In addition she co-developed the online content  the of the platform EBTEDY.COM , for exchanging knowledge about art and creative entrepreneurship.  


Co-Founder and MD of Mahatat Collective for contemporary art Mahatat for contemporary art is a Cairo-based social and cultural enterprise founded in 2011.  Since its establishment, it has unleashed inspiration, creativity, spread joy in entertainment amongst 45,000 people, 289 artists and the participants of its activities. Under the leadership of El Sheikh, Mahatat operated as  facilitator, curator, consultant, and producer of Projects reviving abandoned spaces and community art, that offers unique artistic experiences by organizing 42 performances in public spaces and streets in 20 locations! Mahatat, along with 30 partners, has made efforts to decentralize the arts by working in the Delta, Canal Regions  and Cairo Heba has developed her leadership and managerial skills greatly throughout the years and proven to be adaptive to the challenging political and economic environment Mahatat is operating in and has achieved to initiate streamlining in all of Mahatat´s processes while remaining responsive to the volatile context. She as well had a strong focus on business development and rethinking and redeveloping the organization in those terms.

Published Author Life experienced and travel writer with journalistic background, published her articles in Arabic and French journals in Egypt. Her writings are field work based articles covering all disciplines of arts, culture and traveling, tackling local community life style, culture and legacy. She published an Illustrated Travel Book in Arabic, and her theses report, “Community Arts and Evaluation Practices in Egypt” in 2015. In addition she supervised the publishing of 7 Publications and Toolkits by Mahatat documenting the practices in the field of Art of Public Spaces and Community Arts Projects.
